TAJIKISTAN

The roads of Tajikistan were by far the worst we've experienced so far, but also the most exciting ones to travel. Several days of cruising along the Afghan border river. Roads being constructed while we're waiting. Our 'machina' (a.k.a. the military green Russian minibus) getting stuck in a deep mountain river. And our UAZ jeep breaking down on the stretch between the Tajik and Kirgiz border. Traveling Tajikistan is never boring.
